This backyard belongs to an urban residence above Auckland’s inner city and harbour. The brief required the addition of a pool. This addition also sought to rework the connection between the lower two levels of the existing house and create an outdoor terrace that connected the pool, lawn and internal living spaces. An outdoor fire was added to the composition to serve as a place to gather.
